Walden Park is a condominium and townhome complex in Everett Washington. Walden Park is located at 13000 Admiralty Way, Everett, WA 98204.
At the risk of sounding phony or over complimentary; Walden Park is a great condominium and townhome complex. I say that for 5 reasons.
1. Tall ceilings, radiant floor heating.
2. Excellent grounds maintenance.
3. Great use of space and square footage.
4. Very quiet complex, tucked deep in greenbelts.
5. The interiors show great attention to detail.
Those five bullet points may seem standard, but there are a lot of condos and townhomes that were built cheaply and rushed. The builders who constructed Walden Park in 2001 took some of the standard condo practices mostly seen in Seattle and the Bellevue and brought them to South Everett. I am talking mostly about the crown molding, mill work, kitchen design, tall ceilings, radiant floor heating, and creative use of space.
One thing I notice right away about the units is despite the standard square footage, the units feel larger. I think that is in part to the wise use of space and design, but mostly due to the tall 10 foot ceilings. The radiant floor coil heating system is not only energy efficient, but heats the home much better.
As I am not a professional writer, it is difficult for me to articulate all of the little touches and attention to detail the interiors Walden Park condos and townhomes have. I guess you have to come see for yourself. Walden Park also is very quiet. The tree line is very thick around 3 sides of the complex blocking out traffic noise.
The townhomes in the back of the complex are large and a great alternative to a single family home with all of the maintenance that comes with them.
The only thing I don’t like about Walden Park is the buildings feel cramped and close together. There are many condo and townhome complexes that have done a great job of making the buildings feel distant and separated by trees; such as The Woodlands Condos in Everett.
Over all I really like Walden Park. When compared to other condos and townhomes in Everett and Lynnwood, you will quickly notice the higher quality of materials and craftsmanship that went into its construction.
